![]() Israel's occupation and aggression on Syrian territory are unacceptable, and Turkey will continue to fight against it on all platforms. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during a meeting with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, Anadolu reports. Erdogan expressed confidence that much brighter and calmer days await Syria and stressed that Turkey will continue to support Syria as before. Erdogan noted that Ankara welcomes the beginning of the lifting of sanctions imposed on Syria by the US and the EU, and stressed the importance of preserving the country's territorial integrity and the management of the state and army from a single center. Reaffirming the unacceptability of Israel's occupation and aggression on Syrian territory, Erdogan noted that Turkey will consistently oppose it on all international platforms.
