Rubio and Lavrov discussed the results of Russian-Ukrainian talks
![]() Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed the results of the Russian-Ukrainian talks held in Istanbul yesterday. The Russian Foreign Ministry reported this. According to the department, Rubio emphasized Washington's readiness to continue contributing to the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. He welcomed the agreement of the parties on the exchange of prisoners of war and the presentation of the necessary conditions for achieving a ceasefire. Lavrov confirmed Russia's readiness to continue working with the United States on a settlement. The interlocutors also exchanged views on the continuation of contacts between Russia and the United States.
