![]() At least 15 people have been killed in an Israeli airstrike on a school building in the northern Gaza Strip, Qatari Al Jazeera television reported. According to the source, the Israeli Air Force carried out a series of strikes on a girls' school building in the city of Jabalia, in the northern Palestinian enclave. At least 15 refugees, including children, who were inside were killed in the bombing. The channel also reported that at least 40 Palestinians were killed and more than 80 were injured in strikes and shelling by the Israel Defense Forces in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. The total number of deaths since the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in October 2023 has reached 52,829, with 119,554 injured. |
