![]() The administration of US President Donald Trump has told its G7 allies that it will not sign a statement condemning the Russian strike on Sumy, Bloomberg reported. Washington explained its decision by saying that it is “working to preserve space for peace talks.” Canada, which holds the G7 presidency this year, has told its allies that it cannot make such a statement without US support, the agency’s sources added. Recall that on April 13, Russia launched two Iskander-M tactical missiles at the Ukrainian city of Sumy. According to the latest data, 35 people were killed and 125 were injured in the strike. |
