![]() Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff have agreed to continue talks between the two sides in a week, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “The parties agreed that the talks will continue in a week. During the talks, which were brokered by Oman, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi and US Presidential Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff exchanged their governments’ positions through the Omani Foreign Minister on issues related to Iran’s peaceful nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions against Iran,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on the Telegram channel of the Iranian Foreign Ministry. It is also noted that after the end of the negotiations, which lasted more than two and a half hours, the heads of the Iranian and American delegations had a dialogue for several minutes in the presence of the Omani Foreign Minister. |
