Fidan: "The issue of security guarantees in Ukraine is still at the discussion stage"
![]() The issue of security guarantees within the framework of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict is currently under discussion. This was stated by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. “In the context of the war between Russia and Ukraine, we have reached a point today when the new American administration is putting forward a peace agenda, and this is certainly a welcome development for our region and all of humanity,” Fidan said. “On the other hand, when it comes to a peaceful solution, the issue of security guarantees comes to the fore. Discussions, studies and searches for solutions on this topic continue at different levels and in different formats. As a country, we will continue to provide possible support for both the ceasefire and comprehensive peace negotiations,” the Turkish Foreign Minister added. |
