We are particularly worried about the inhumane treatment of Ruben Vardanyan, who is on a hunger strike—a desperate call for international intervention against Azerbaijan’s blatant violations of due process and fundamental human rights. Deprived of a fair trial and held on fabricated charges, Vardanyan is risking his health to expose these injustices.
