Fico: Zelensky wanted Slovakia to support Ukraine's membership in NATO
Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico the minutes of the meeting that had not yet taken place, stating that he wanted to receive guarantees of Ukraine's membership in NATO. "I was ready to meet with Zelensky in Davos.The meeting had not yet taken place, but the protocol was ready for the meeting, including supporting its membership in NATO. Gas was not mentioned there at all," the Slovak prime minister said in a video posted on his Facebook page․ Earlier, Fico offered Zelensky to hold talks on Slovak territory near the state border with Ukraine. Zelensky, in response to the invitation of the Slovak prime minister, invited him to come to Kiev on January 17.
