This was stated by the head of the press service of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, at a regular briefing. According to him, the parties have made significant progress in the peace process over the past year. "We urge them to maintain this momentum of the previous negotiations and conclude an agreement," Miller said. He also expressed hope that Azerbaijan and Armenia will sign a lasting peace treaty recognizing each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and "the sooner the better." |
