At least ten people were dead during the riots in Ecuador. This was reported by the national police.
"We inform you that this evening in Nobola, Guayas province, two of our comrades were viciously killed by armed criminals," the police said on the official page on the social network X.

Earlier, the President of Ecuador mobilized the army to fight armed militants who launched a large-scale insurgency. The Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the country ordered to neutralize more than 20 criminal groups without entering into negotiations with them.
