The Parliament of the Slovak Republic has recently adopted a resolution on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
The Parliament of the Slovak Republic has recently adopted a resolution on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with 110 votes in favor and 2 abstentions. The resolution essentially reaffirms the position of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs that there is no military solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and calls for a ceasefire, as well as it reaffirms the three basic principles of the conflict resolution: the right of peoples to self-determination, territorial integrity and prohibition of threat or use of force. As the Head of the Friendship Group Armenia-Slovakia, I appreciate the consistency and constant attention of my Slovak colleagues to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. |
