Putin's interview nominated for Emmy

The interview of Russian President Vladimir Putin, which he gave in July 2018 to Fox News host Chris Wallace, had been nominated in the "Outstanding Live Interview" category. The News & Documentary Emmy Awards will be presented in a Sept. 24 ceremony at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.
It is noted that the interviewer was a journalist Chris Wallace, the shooting took place at the Russian embassy in Helsinki after Vladimir Putin met with the American leader Donald Trump.
The announcement of the award winners will be held on September 24 in New York. During the conversation, the parties discussed, among other things, the issues of relations between Moscow and Washington, the situation around Russia's “interference” in US elections, the policy of the North Atlantic Alliance.
