Four chamber vocal symphony compositions were presented to the Armenian audience for the first time
The National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia and the National Chamber Choir of Armenia has finished the concert season 2017/18 with a unique concert. On July 20, the Chamber Orchestra (the Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Vahan Mardirossian) and the Choir (the Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Robert Mlkeyan) performed at Komitas Chamber Music House headed by conductor, RA Honored Art Worker Robert Mlkeyan. The collectives presented premieres of the chamber vocal symphony compositions. ''During the concert Armenian premieres of various compositions were presented. Four pieces by Haydn and Mozart were performed for the first time during the evening'',- conductor Robert Mlkeyan noted. RA Honored Art Worker added that the Chamber Choir performs at least 25 concerts in Armenia annually, not including concerts presented abroad. The collective pays a great attention to the promotion of the compositions by Armenian composers and at the same time presents the world musical heritage to the Armenian audience. It should be noted that during the concert Sofya Sayadyan (soprano), Era Hovsepyan (soprano), Naira Hovhannisyan (mezzo-soprano), Razmik Baghdasaryan (tenor), Armen Grigoryan (bass), Tereza Voskanyan (organ) performed with the orchestra and choir as soloists. The 2018/19 concert season will be launched with original projects in autumn. PR Department of the National Centre of Chamber Music |
