Sergei Skripal is no longer in a critical condition and is “improving rapidly”, according to doctors at the hospital where the former Russian double agent has been receiving treatment. News of a change in his condition on Friday came after it emerged last week that the health of his daughter, Yulia, had also stabilised and that she was looking forward to leaving hospital. Detectives investigating the attempted murders of the Skripals, who were the victims of a nerve agent attack in Salisbury on 4 March, believe the pair were poisoned at his home. Specialists investigating the incident have found the highest concentration of novichok on the front door at the address. |
