Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are to invite more than 1,000 members of the public into the grounds of Windsor Castle for their wedding day to see them and their guests arrive at St George’s Chapel. In total, a crowd of 2,640 will be invited into the castle grounds, including schoolchildren and charity volunteers. They will also be able to see the start of the couple’s carriage procession through Windsor, which is described as an opportunity for people to come together and “enjoy the atmosphere of this special day” on May 19. In a statement today, Kensington Palace said: 'Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle have said they want their Wedding Day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too". |
