Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: We hope lasting peace will be established between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has voiced his support for the establishment of permanent peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Speaking at the UN General Assembly, Erdoğan said Türkiye’s position on the South Caucasus was clear.

“We hope lasting peace will be established between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We appreciate and support the determination for a solution demonstrated by Mr. Aliyev and Mr. Pashinyan,” the Turkish President emphasized.

Erdoğan also said Türkiye was determined to continue the normalization process with Armenia.
