Nikol Pashinyan sends congratulatory message to Emmanuel Macron
![]() Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on the occasion of the National Day. The message reads: “Dear Mr. President, dear Emmanuel, I warmly congratulate and extend my best wishes to you and the friendly French people on the occasion of the National Day of the French Republic. July 14 has a special meaning not only for France, but also for all peoples sharing the values of freedom, equality and fraternity. This day is the best opportunity to appreciate the rich political and ideological heritage of France, the principles underlying which have become the pillars of the modern democratic world. I note with great satisfaction that the relations between Armenia and France, anchored on the basis of these values, have reached an unprecedented level in recent years, acquiring a new quality and strategic content. Today, the strategic partnership between Armenia and France is confidently developing in all key areas, from political dialogue and defense to economy, investments, infrastructure, energy, education, science, culture and decentralized cooperation. At the same time, our cooperation is successfully expanding in such promising areas as innovations, artificial intelligence, biodiversity conservation and the climate agenda. I am confident that the consistent implementation of the jointly developed ambitious agenda will bring our partnership to a higher level for the benefit of both friendly peoples. Armenia greatly values the key role and consistent support of France in deepening our country’s partnership with the European Union, expanding the Armenia-European Union cooperation agenda, as well as in democratic reforms and institutional development. I would like to emphasize once again how highly we appreciate the support of France and your personal support for Armenia’s sovereignty, strengthening of its resilience and democratic development. I appreciate with special gratitude your personal leadership and commitment in this direction. Please accept, Honorable Mr. President, the assurances of my deepest respect. Sincerely, Nikol Pashinyan." Source: ՀՀ կառավարություն |
