French mayor dies after confrontation with yachtsman, investigation underway

Despite several attempts to resuscitate him, the mayor was pronounced dead. According to the source, there were no visible signs of physical violence on Rousselot's body, and investigators have not yet determined the exact cause or circumstances of his death. The suspect, identified as a 55-year-old yacht owner, was taken into custody after initially refusing to cooperate with law enforcement, the report said.
