Turkey urges US and Iran to resume talks

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has called for the United States and Iran to cease renewed hostilities and resume negotiations. The statement was made during a visit to Sofia, where Fidan underscored the urgent need for diplomatic talks to prevent further conflict escalation.

According to Fidan, Turkey maintains close contact with both Washington and Tehran, as well as with mediators such as Pakistan. He advised both nations to focus on reaching a comprehensive peace deal. The minister’s comments come amid rising tensions in the region.
