Iranian president’s son denies reports of serious injuries to Mojtaba Khamenei

![]() Yousef Pezeshkian, a government adviser and the son of Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran, said that Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is “alive and well” despite reports that he had been injured during the fighting. In a post published on his Telegram channel, Pezeshkian addressed circulating reports claiming that Khamenei had sustained wounds. “I heard the news that Mr Mojtaba Khamenei had been wounded. I asked several friends who have connections. They told me that, thank God, he is healthy, and everything is fine,” Pezeshkian wrote. The statement comes amid ongoing reports and speculation about injuries allegedly suffered by Khamenei during the current hostilities. |
