Zelenskyy publicly invites Putin to Kyiv 'if he dares'
![]() Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has categorically rejected the possibility of meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin in Moscow. He publicly invited the Kremlin leader to Kyiv during a meeting with journalists. He stressed that Ukraine wants to reach a real end to the war and a productive meeting. Zelenskyy reiterated that Ukraine is serious about ending the war. Therefore, any real format for a meeting at the leadership level is acceptable. "I don't know what the outcome will be. But at least it will be better than what is happening today. Of course, we always advocate for Europeans to be involved in the process. But I'm not sure that the other two sides will support this format specifically for a meeting of leaders. Not regarding security guarantees, for example, but specifically regarding particularly complex issues," the president added. Zelenskyy says he is ready for any format that will work to end the war. |
