Iran army closely monitoring US military movements in Middle East

The Iranian army is closely monitoring all movements of the US Armed Forces in the Middle East and is taking necessary measures to increase Iran's defense capabilities. Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesperson Esmaeil Baghai stated this as he commented on US President Donald Trump's statements about deploying numerous American ships to the region.

"Sending any ship to the region will in no way affect Iran's determination to defend its sovereignty", he said.
