Hundreds of protesters killed in Iran

Iran has been rocked by protests since late December 2025 over the devaluation of the national currency and a sharp rise in prices. According to the human rights organization HRAI, at least 544 people have been killed in the protests in Iran, including 48 members of the security forces.
