![]() Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called on the government he leads to carefully consider the demands of participants in the protest actions taking place in the country. The president announced he had given relevant instructions to the country’s interior minister for this purpose. “I instructed the interior minister to engage in dialogue with representatives of the protesters, listen to their legitimate demands, and ensure that the state, using its full potential, acts toward resolving their difficulties,” Pezeshkian said. Note that yesterday, in protest against the sharp depreciation of Iran’s national currency, the rial, against the US dollar, a group of merchants held a protest action in capital Tehran’s markets. |
