Zelenskyy: 20-point peace plan covers return of Ukrainian children and exchange of all POWs
![]() President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that the return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia and the exchange of all prisoners of war are set out in the 20-point peace plan. Zelenskyy said this in response to a question about hearings in the US Senate, where senators have emphasised that any agreements with Russia that do not contain guarantees for the return of Ukrainian children would be unacceptable. "These issues are sensitive and painful for Americans, just as they are for us. These are our children, so for us it is even closer, undoubtedly. But it is important to Americans too. And that's why the issues of the return of children, as well as the exchange of all our prisoners, are included in the 20-point plan. The US congressmen and senators are moving forward with the relevant legislation regarding our children. They are making progress in Congress, and we will support them." he said. |
