![]() Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says it "would not be correct" to say that Russian President Vladimir Putin rejected US peace proposals during talks with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner yesterday. Responding to a question at a daily press conference, Peskov said: "Yesterday was the first time a direct exchange of views took place. Something was accepted, something was marked as unacceptable. This is a normal working process and a search for compromise." Peskov also refused to reveal any details from the five-day negotiations in the Kremlin: "There is an understanding that the more calm these negotiations are, the more productive they are." |
