Hamas denies responsibility for attack on Israeli forces in Rafah

Hamas denied responsibility on Tuesday for an attack on Israeli forces in the southern Gaza city of Rafah that prompted Israel to launch attacks in Gaza.

The militant Palestinian group also said in a statement that it remained committed to the U.S.-brokered ceasefire deal in Gaza.

At least 104 Palestinians were killed in a wave of Israeli strikes in Gaza on Tuesday night․
