Mass protests in Indonesia

Thousands of workers in Indonesia have taken to the streets of the capital Jakarta, demanding higher wages and better working conditions.

As reported by a RIA Novosti correspondent, protesters are throwing stones at police and using fireworks.

Police have used tear gas.
