This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with Al Arabia TV channel. “Formally, the peace treaty was not signed for one specific reason. The Armenian constitution still contains a provision that calls into question the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan,” Aliyev said. “As soon as this constitutional amendment is made, as soon as the territorial claims against Azerbaijan are removed, an official peace treaty will be signed.
