Bayramov: "Resolving the conflict was in our national interests"

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to the United States on August 7-8 and the signed documents are an important stage in the normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations. This was stated by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a special session of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Washington, APA reports.

According to Bayramov, the policy pursued by Azerbaijan has reached its logical peak.

“The settlement of the conflict as a result of a decisive foreign policy was in line with our national interests. Even in the most difficult times, our country did not allow the occupation to be legalized,” Bayramov noted.
