![]() Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has ordered the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to the Druze community in southern Syria, the Israeli Foreign Ministry press service reported. “In light of the recent attacks on the Druze in As-Suwayda and the dire humanitarian situation in the area, as well as the needs on the ground, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has ordered the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to the Druze in As-Suwayda. The aid package, worth 2 million shekels (about $600,000), will include food packages, medical equipment, first aid kits, and medicine,” the statement said. It is noted that this humanitarian aid package complements the previous one sent to the Syrian Druze in March last year. |
