This was stated by Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh in a telephone conversation with the Turkish Defense Minister. “We do not trust the ceasefire regime and foresee different scenarios for any new adventure,” he said. “The Islamic Republic in no way seeks to expand the war and create instability in the region,” the Defense Minister added. Let us recall that the ceasefire came into effect on June 24 after a 12-day war between Iran and Israel. |
