According to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, People's Artist of Russia, director Nikita Mikhalkov has been declared wanted in Ukraine.

According to the Interior Ministry, Mikhalkov has been wanted by the Security Service of Ukraine since March 2022. Since 2018, he has been on the list of figures who, according to official Kiev, pose a threat to national security. Since 2017, the director has been included in the famous Ukrainian website "Myrotvorets", which publishes data on journalists, militiamen of the DPR and LPR, and other citizens, calling them "traitors to the homeland."
