Two employees of Sputnik Azerbaijan arrested

Two employees were detained during a police operation at the office of the Sputnik Azerbaijan agency.

As reported by Vesti.az, citing sources, two agents of the Russian Federal Security Service working at this agency were detained as a result of the Interior Ministry operation.

It should be noted that since this morning, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry has been conducting a search at the Baku office of Sputnik Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that in February of this year, a decision was made to suspend the activities of the Sputnik Azerbaijan agency.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Russia is concerned that Russian diplomats in Baku have been unable to contact Sputnik Azerbaijan journalists, who are Russian citizens, for more than two hours.
