Pezeshkian: "Iran opposes development of nuclear weapons"

Iran is against the development of nuclear weapons, this is the unchanging position of the country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This was stated by the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian.

"The clear position of the state, which the Supreme Leader has repeatedly stated, is to renounce the possession of nuclear weapons and the desire to develop nuclear weapons. Anyone who takes a contrary position has no place in the formation of the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran," Pezeshkian was quoted as saying by his press service.
