![]() The above-ground part of the Natanz plant, where Iran produced uranium enriched to 60%, was destroyed, as was the electrical infrastructure at the site, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi said at a meeting of the UN Security Council. According to him, Iran initially confirmed that only the Natanz fuel enrichment plant was hit in the Israeli attacks on June 13. “In Natanz, the above-ground part of the pilot plant, where Iran produced uranium enriched to 60%, was destroyed. The electrical infrastructure at the site — the distribution substation, the main power supply building, the emergency power system and the backup generators — was also destroyed,” Grossi said. |
