![]() Saying the city had reached a “tipping point” following days of unrest and increasing vandalism in the wake of protests over immigration raids, Mayor Karen Bass ordered a curfew Tuesday for a small part of Los Angeles most affected by the violence. The downtown curfew will be in effect from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday, with violators subject to arrest and prosecution, Bass said.
