New details emerge from Austrian school shooting

The shooting at a school in Graz, which left 11 people dead, was carried out by a student who thought he was being teased, the Kronen Zeitung newspaper reported.

According to the newspaper, the student opened fire in two classrooms at the high school. Police found him dead in one of the school’s toilets. Mayor Elke Carr confirmed the boy’s death.

According to witnesses, about two dozen shots were heard, and more than 10 people were hospitalized with serious injuries.
