 The new Pope Leo XIV may make his first foreign visit to Turkey, Ermenihaber reports with reference to the Vatican media. According to the portal, the place of Pope Leo XIV's first visit may be the Turkish city of Iznik (Nicaea - Greek). The possible visit of the pontiff is timed to coincide with the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea. The newspaper La Repubblica also wrote that the new Pope Leo XIV intends to visit Turkey, Ukraine and Peru. |
