![]() Representatives of Turkey and Israel will meet today in the Azerbaijani capital for informal talks. As Report reports, citing the Israeli Kan 11 TV channel, the meeting was organized with the mediation of Azerbaijan and is aimed at reducing tensions in connection with Turkey's growing activity in Syria and the threat of a direct military clash between the two countries. According to sources, the Israeli side intends to present two main demands in the security sphere: the exclusion of the presence of hostile armed formations near its borders, as well as the prevention of the deployment of strategic weapons in Syria, which could threaten Israel's national security. |
