The decision comes at cardinals meeting early Tuesday, while the conclave to elect a new pope will begin from May 5. Until then, on April 23, from 9 a.m. local time, the remains of Pope Francis will be in St. Peter's Basilica, where those who wish can pay their last respects to the pontiff.
