The death toll from floods and tornadoes in the United States has increased to 20 people

In the United States, the death toll from severe storms and floods in the southern states has reached 20 people. This was reported on April 7 by ABC News TV channel with reference to the governors and other government representatives.

"Since Wednesday, at least 20 people have died as a result of bad weather, including a 9-year—old boy in Kentucky who was swept away by a torrent of water as he walked to a bus stop," the publication said.

Rescue teams continue to work in settlements affected by heavy rains and hurricanes. It is noted that at the moment there are dead in six states: Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, Arkansas and Mississippi.
