![]() Chinese diplomats have informed the EU about China’s willingness to join the "volunteers’ coalition," as previously mentioned by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The issue concerns the deployment of peacekeeping forces in Ukraine after the end of military operations. According to the German publication Welt, citing diplomatic sources, China's participation in the "volunteers' coalition" could increase pressure on Russia in the negotiation process. Plans for forming the coalition were announced in early March after a European summit in London. At that time, Starmer stated that the coalition would be led by the UK and France. A summit on the coalition is scheduled for March 27. |
