![]() The Foundation for the Study of Armenian Architecture reports: "The cemeteries of Avetaranots, Jrakatsner, Zardanashen, Madatashen, and Sargsashen—villages subjected to ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijani authorities—have been destroyed. Satellite images published in March 2025 (dated 03/02/2025) show that most of the tombstones in these cemeteries were removed during 2024. The extent of the damage is unclear from the images." |
