"3 red lines"- Sibiha outlined the conditions for future negotiations
![]() Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga named three "red lines" for Ukraine in any future negotiations to end the war. "I don't like this definition ("red lines'"). There are fundamental things that are not discussed, that cannot be touched upon," he said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine. Sybiga named the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine as the first "red line", emphasizing that Kyiv will never recognize the territories occupied by Russia. The minister emphasized that no country has a veto over the choice of the Ukrainian people regarding membership in the EU or NATO - this is the second "red line". In addition, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry added that there can be no restrictions on Ukraine's defense capability. "Therefore, these are fundamental things that our partners know about. Russia must be held accountable. These are all elements of a comprehensive peace. They reflect the approaches that determine our position in the international arena," Sybiga noted. He also emphasized the fundamental principles for Kyiv: “nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine” and “nothing about Europe without Europe.” |
