 France wants to be part of the US-Ukraine mineral resource talks linked to conflict resolution, Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said. "It is necessary for this agreement between the US and Ukraine to be concluded. But you should know that I am personally discussing our defense needs with my Ukrainian counterpart. We are not looking for compensation. But our defense system needs resources that are key to our weapons system not only for the coming years, but for 30-40 years to come.
