The Times learned about the US permission for Storm Shadow strikes deep into the Russian Federation

The United States has allowed British long-range Storm Shadow missiles to be fired deep into Russia. This was reported by The Times.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and members of the government refused to make an official statement on the use of Storm Shadow in order not to give Russia a "strategic advantage on the battlefield."

At the same time, Starmer's confidants said that the use of Storm Shadow, which requires the operation of American guidance systems, is unlikely to change the course of the Ukrainian conflict.

Bloomberg also reported that the West does not believe in the ability of strikes deep into the Russian Federation to change the course of the conflict. "Officials of the allied countries do not expect that the recent resolution will significantly affect the situation, at least for the moment, or radically change the balance of power in the conflict," the publication says.

It is noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have recently been losing ground due to strong pressure from more numerous and better equipped Russian troops.

French President Emmanuel Macron, amid reports of the Ukrainian Armed Forces allowing Western weapons to strike deep into Russia and after updating the doctrine of the Russian Federation, called on Moscow to participate in the "collective de-escalation" of the situation in Ukraine.
