A hedgehog prevented a plane from taking off at an airfield in Germany
![]() A curious incident occurred at the airfield of the city of Arnstadt, located in the German state of Thuringia. The hedgehog that came onto the runway prevented the plane from taking off. As Bild reports, the prickly traveller was discovered by Carlo Pete and Ekkehard Dierbach, pilots of the B&F FK 9 ultralight aircraft, which entered the runway after refuelling. They reported that the unexpected visitor was apparently busy looking for food and did not want to leave the taxiway, preventing the plane from taking off. Only half an hour later, the people managed to escort the stubborn hedgehog to a nearby meadow. At the same time, the uninvited needle-shaped guest left very slowly and reluctantly.
