#Hürriyet: Turkish armed forces plan to conduct major military operation in northern Iraq

The Turkish Armed Forces are expected to conduct a large-scale ground military operation in northern Iraq against PKK militants, reports Hürriyet. The central administrations of Iraq, as well as Erbil, have been informed that the anti-terrorism operation Pence-Kilit would be carried out. As a result of this operation, the Turkish side expects to “close” all 378 km of the border with Iraq for terrorists. |
