Belgium will send two F-16s to Denmark in March to train Ukrainian pilots
Belgium will send two two-seat F-16 fighter jets and about 50 people to Denmark between March and September to train Ukrainian pilots, technicians and mission planners. This was reported by the Belgian public broadcaster RTBF, with reference to information from the Belgian Ministry of Defense. It is noted that on Wednesday, Norway announced that it was sending two F-16 aircraft to the Skridstrup air base in Denmark to train Ukrainian pilots. According to the press service of the Belgian Ministry of Defense, the Belgian Air Force will do the same. The two Belgian F-16Bs will be deployed to Denmark from March to September, for two eight-week periods, along with about 50 military personnel. The purpose of the training mission will be to train not only pilots, but also Ukrainian technicians and mission planners. |
